Sarmale

sarmale are pork stuffed cabbage rolls that are cooked for two hours and the served with sour cream and romanian polenta (mamaliga).

Cozonac is a Romanian sweet bread. There are varieties of cozonac like chocolate and walnut or poppyseed with turkish delight jelly. It is usually eaten during the colder months during Christmas and New Year's.
