History: Romania was known as Dacia inhabited by the Dacians. The Dacians were split into many seperate tribes who were all united under their king Burebista. After their King died, Decebalus became king. King trajan of the Roman Empire took his army and enslaved the dacians and changed everything and made it their province. This is how romania became the eastern-most point of Latin influence in Europe. after the Roman empire fell, the slavic tribes migrated south but avoided the black seas and carpathian coast, which made romania isolated from the rest of the latin-based countries. The last king, Michael I of Romania ruled until 1947, when he was overruled by the communist party.
